In the main, this has been a great read. I've spent a couple of days going through the material and I like the rounded approach by the author. The material, so far so good. I'm learning heaps of stuff. For that reason, I give the title five stars.

However, I wish there was a separate category for the pro

I've learned a lot of programming languages, techniques, and platforms over the years using books. There are great books, and there is this. I am learning, but only because I'm tenacious enough to go outside this book. It tells you what to type in, but never takes the time to explain what you're doing I never onc

Great book for someone who is an experienced developer and wants to start learning Angular, and typescript.

Invaluable asset with lots of information otherwise tough to find at one place online. Easy to understand and practice. I am in to the fifth chapter and I could not be excited to get the finish line. The fundmaentals and why something is used rather than just using for the sake of using it.

This book provides a complete example of an enterprise grade application. It explains different issues a real word application development usually encounters. Helped me a lot to get started learning Angular framework.

  6. says:

Outdated links, a lot about testing, minimum of key concepts revealed.

  7. says:

Similar to my critique of Angular 6 by Example (Chandermani Arora / Kevin Hennessy )
No chapter or section exercises. If you don't include t

  8. says:

The thing that sets this book apart from other Angular books is the comprehensive advice on how to take an idea from the back of a napkin to deployment.

The book starts with a chapter on how to configure your development environment and integrate build tools and project management tools. Next, Doguhan provides thoughts on how to best work with the business stakeholders to gain a high level concept of the application's maj

  9. says:

This book is interesting in the sense it is not focused on single subjects and presents a variety of approaches from the get go to deployment, tries to tackle some common problems of scalability and best practises, but could have been better, much better for the price it's sold.
If you have been spoiled to the quality of manning publications or other major producers you are probably going to get disappointed, all thr

  10. says:

This is like a recipe than a reference book.

If you follow it from the start and work your way through, you will end up with an app, and learn a lot on the way.

If you want t book you can dip into and learn how to do something, it is nearly useless because the examples all build on previous exercises.

There’s a lot of angular how to books out there but this one is the only one that comes loaded with real world wisdom. The router first methodology is pure genius, and will serve you well in the corporate world were many people think agile m

  12. says:

Has useful information on how to setup a "enterprise" environment for Angular. Most of his guidance also apply if you're a single consultant on a single project (I guess there's still people out there making address manager apps?)

Lots of typos, grammatical errors, missing steps and incorrect steps though. The book sorely needs an editor.

  13. says:

In short, I think this book has good content but It has edition and quality problems, at least in the digital version. It's uncomfortable for reading because some marks (icons) in the e book are over the text and the images have extrematly low quality. Sometimes the code are showed in very small letters (or maybe is a image, I'm not sure), difficult to read.
