    Biographies are my kind of book I've probably said it before but if they're well written they're an instant 4 star read for me This one I rated 3 stars Looking back that's probably harsh but while I liked it I didn't really like it Sometimes Nancy's writing got a little confused jumping around in chronological order and made a lot of assumptions about our knowledge of French life and courts as well as being able to read passages in French T
